Visitation Clinic staff will soon be treating severely malnourished with a food supplement known as "Plumpy Nut." This is a safe and effective paste consisting of peanuts and milk with a little sugar and vitamins and minerals.

Visitation Hospital Foundation receives a wonderful gift!  Fr. Tom Bielewa, pastor of St. Lawrence Church in Joelton, will be retiring in June.  In lieu of gifts, he asks that funds be donated either to Visitation Hospital Foundation or Catholic Charities.

The Visitation Clinic has another unique quality: It’s 100 percent sustainable. The clinic is powered by solar panels on the roof and thus saves a massive amount of money on energy costs and the use of fossil fuels to operate generators. It also has a backup generator in case of an emergency.

The World Bank is giving Haiti $5 million to rebuild 15 public primary schools damaged last year in four hurricanes and tropical storms.

UN Secretary General and Former President Clinton Visit Haiti

U.N.
